The Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25 in an exciting shootout today, January 18th, 2009, in Glendale, Arizona at the University of Phoenix stadium. Kurt Warner was phenomenal today and showed his maturity on the field. The entire team deserves credit for today's win. The entire team showed their toughness and refused to give up, even when it looked as if it could have gone the other way, especially in the third quarter when the Eagles came back with a couple of scores and led the game at one point, 25-24. This is the first time in franchise history that the team has ever advanced this far and what an exciting time for the state of Arizona! Not too many people predicted that this would happen, except for maybe some of the true believers who are truly fans of the beloved Cardinals. The state of Arizona has been waiting for 21 years for this. Since 1988, this team has seen more bad times than good times, but now their time has come and I am so excited to see this team prove all the non-believers wrong. Now, the table is set.
